"Marie and time machine"
Hello my dear Steemians,
Do you like to write a story? I do, sometimes... when I have my inspiration and a little bit of time :) Today when I saw this digital image that was created by my hubby I just decided to write the first thing that came to my mind and it is a story that I hope you will like.
It is 22th century and Marie studies history despite of modern technology that is much more advanced and it is already about 100 years since time machine was invented. Many people tried to travel to past but because it was not really safe because of diseases, criminals and in general that in the past there were too many accidents and many died, that is why the past was almost forbidden or better to say strongly not advised to travel to past. On other hand to travel to future is one of the most popular thing, people love to find better and easy life. They learnt southing and they made if better when they return to this time. That is why technology was racing forward.
As to Marie, she was a curious young women and she loved the mystery of the past, she wanted to study it and also she was intrigued by the people of that time who were inventors, creators and she was curious of who and how they were inspired.
She prepared herself for more than five years, she needed as much information about the time, people and event as possible. She was not able to take a computer so she decided to take an Artificial Intelligence that in the future you could upload anywhere, so she made a little bird and uploaded her AI into that bird. The contact was easy, she had a little ear button quite small that it was not visible when it was in ear but she was able to communicate with AI.
Finally it was a day when she decided to travel and it was the time of 19th century, she remembers that she watched that old entertaining movie called “Harry Potter” she felt herself like these kids and wished very much to visit that platform 9 ¾ and of course to travel with Hogwarts Express. Now it was so far and using the time machine within a minute she appeared on the platform and the train was already there. When she found herself on platform she then realised that her dress despite of being suitable for the time was not really good for this moment. She then tried to get advice from her little bird if there anything that she quickly could get proper dress. She knew about the variety of such old time tailors and dress shops, on one hand she liked this dress too. The colour that suits to all women, red, the colour of love and romance, maybe she wanted to find her romance, who knows? New time, new place, new relationship...
This actually reminds me of Dolores with the train scene from Westworld too bad they cancelled that show in the last season. Got Nostalgic
