Popular drinks from 1950's "Bluna"

Hello my dear Steemians,
Today I wanted to share with you the story about a drink that my hubby told me last time we visited supermarket. We all know many different soft drinks but this one had funny name "Bluna" which was very funny and sounded not like a real name of drink. What I learned that the drink was popular first time in 1950's and that time it was refreshment drink with orange or lemon taste carbonated.
So today we bought them and tasted. I must say that lemon one is slightly sauer but still sweet with nice lemon taste, it also reminded the taste of "7up".*
As to the other one with orange taste it is almost like "Fanta" with some taste of sweetener. Cold both of htem are very tasty and refreshing. I like them and can imagine that in 50's htey were hits.

Hey @stef1, what a fun post! I love how you turned a simple supermarket visit into a mini-history lesson and a taste test adventure. "Bluna" is such a quirky name; I can see why it caught your attention. Your description of the lemon and orange flavors makes me want to try them both, especially since you compared them to 7up and Fanta – classics! It's fascinating how certain tastes can transport us back in time. Thanks for sharing this refreshing find and the cool vintage vibes. I'm curious, have you discovered any other forgotten treats lately?
