Cocoa Seed Nursery

A few weeks ago, 20 days ago to be exact, I accidentally started this cocoa seed nursery. I thought it wouldn't work, but it turns out the cocoa seeds I sowed in small polybags have borne fruit.

If this cocoa seedling grows successfully, I've concluded that I will continue sowing cocoa seeds as well. Due to limited garden space, I can't plant everything, only a few plants. The maximum I can plant is 10 plants, plus rows of clove seeds along the edges of the garden.

If you ask, why am I sowing these cocoa seeds? The answer is, time flies when I'm in the garden. So, I use my free time to benefit other farmers. So, I'm sowing these cocoa seeds. From this initial seedling, there will be around 100 cocoa seeds. If they grow and develop well, I can sell them for IDR 100. 5,000 per stem when young and IDR 20,000 per stem.

As you can see above, that's how the cocoa beans are growing now. Below, you can see that the cocoa beans have begun to emerge from the soil, sprouting new shoots from the previous seeds.

The shape of the cocoa beans coming out, as you can see, is irregular, and that is caused by the watering that I do, with the water pressure when watering, then, making the cocoa beans shift irregularly, so, as you can see, the reality has begun to be seen, and I will start new work soon at the end of 2025.
