Drawing Choji Akimichi from Naruto

The artwork passes through several gradual stages until it reaches its final complete form. And through these drawings I clarify the development of the character Choji Akimichi from the first simple lines until the completion of the fine details, to embody the journey of creativity that any artist passes through in building his characters.

In the first stage I started with determining the basic features of the character Choji Akimichi. Like all the drawings that I draw, I focused on the outer lines of the head and the hair, with adding the forehead band that distinguishes the ninja characters. I did not enter into the fine details yet, but I sufficed with drawing a general outline for the face with the initial features of the two eyes, the nose, and the mouth. These basic lines represent the initial structure that the full body of the character will be built upon.
In the second stage I moved from drawing the initial lines of the face to adding more details that show the character Choji Akimichi in a clearer way. I specified the features of the eyes with greater precision, and highlighted his serious expression, and I also added the two distinctive marks on his cheeks which reflect his own identity. Likewise I began drawing the details of the clothes, such as the ninja jacket and the protective armor with the pockets, which made the character gain a deeper dimension and a clearer realism. This stage is a basic step for the transition of the work from just a general outline to an almost complete drawing.

This is the third stage of drawing the character Choji Akimichi, where the outer lines are completed to embody his serious features and his stance full of strength. Choji Akimichi character is always eating and he does not carry a weapon, but I wanted to add a weapon for him so that he appears stronger than his usual character in the Naruto anime. In this work, I relied on highlighting the fine details in the face and clothing, so that the drawing becomes ready to receive the colors that will give it life.
.Drawing the character Choji Akimichi was an enjoyable experience full of details that brought the character to life. Through these stages, I was able to express my drawing skills and enjoy every step of the creative process. With every pencil stroke I made on the paper, the character appeared more realistic and beautiful.
