Finger food is really helpful when dealing with portion control for those of us who do not want to add weight. It can help us choose our nutrients wisely by incorporating varieties of fruits and vegetables as well as lean protein.

It is one of those food eaten by busy people who do not have all the time to cook. When chosen wisely it can serve as a meal and as appetizers.

What do you understand by finger food?

A finger food is any food designed to be eaten with out hands without needing any fork, spoon or knife. They are often cut into sizes that will make it easy to pick it up with our fingers and eat.
Most finger foods are served as appetizers, snacks in form of mini sandwiches or dessert bites. Finger foods are perfect for events where people will mingle and work about like social gatherings or a buffet.

Give some other examples of finger food that you like?

I love chicken wings, here we go for grilled chicken feet with dipping sauce.

Other finger foods I love are Bruschetta, savory mini pies, meatballs and some kind of fruit kebab.

Some tips for presentation of finger food.

  • A good finger food must have that visual appeal that calls and invites you to come take a bite.

  • It pops better when it has colours, red tomatoes, green lettuce, brown bread contrasting with tan beat and white moines dripping out.

  • Add garnishing and toppings with nuts, pomegranate seeds, micro greens etc.

  • Good finger food is fresh and handled safely, it should not fall apart or crumble when picked up and no oily exterior.

I am thankful to our challenger for bringing this challenge to us this week. I have learn a lot and have added new finger door to my list.
Though I usually make toast bread but this particular finger food is different from the toast bread I used to make. It can be done with out without electricity and toaster.

I am inviting @bossj23
