SLC26-W3 // Savoury Appetizers
So when I saw this challenge I was so happy to take part in the challenge because I've not tried chicken chunks before.
I've been doing peppered chicken with different parts of chicken that has bone but I have never tried it with the part that does not have bone.
So I was so eager to do it to have a taste and I could say I was pleased with the taste because eating meat without bone obstruction is one of those things so many people long for, but because of some circumstances without our control we find it difficult to purchase boneless meat because of the high price of it and food.
Therefore, because of this we do so many events and occasions using the parts of meat that has bone of course I think it's cheaper.
What do you understand by Savory Appetizers?
It is an appetizer that is served to stimulate appetite for the main dish. They are served in small portion, they are with flavoured, salty or spicy dishes.
They are not meant to be sweet but spicy and are often finger foods or in a bite-sized portion. The reason is because they are not meant to make you full but to make you anticipate the main dish.
Make any one savory appetizer from given recipes in detail step by step with pictures . You can add ingredients of your choice too .
To do this I choose chicken chunks, I've done meat balls before and it was really nice I enjoyed it so much so this time, I chose chicken chunks to have a taste of it as well.
To prepare this, I used this ingredient as seen below

Chicken breast | boneless |
ginger garlic paste | 1/2tsp |
Chilli powder | to taste |
Salt | to taste |
Black pepper | 1/2 tsp |
Vinegar | 1tsp |
Soya sauce | 1tsp |
Whole spices | 1/4tsp |
Food color | orange |
So after getting the ingredients ready, I began the cooking process.
Pour all ingredients to the meat and mixed gently then keep it aside to marinate.
I finally added soy sauce and mixed it then keep it preferably in the fridge for 2 hours to marinate.
Soy sauce well marinated and it's ready to be steam fry.
I added the chicken chunks in the fry pan and put it on fire
I fried it for 10 minutes till the chicken turns brown and dry.
I used veggies to decorate it, making it more appetizing

Meat balls, samosa, spicy chicken wings, cheese balls, peppered snail I loved these so much.
So personally, when I have any occasion or anything even that I invite people I usually make either pork chunks, puff puff or peppered chicken as appetizer for my guests.
Oh anything that is spicy and has a lot of pepper in it it's good to go with.
What should be the right portion of serving of appetizers?

Like I already mentioned at the beginning of my post, it should not be too much just few sticks of the chicken chunks is okay, 2 to 3 sticks. Incase of any other type of appetizer, a small portion just to stimulate appetite is fine
In my area a little potion of it is served during occasion events or any parties I enjoy having a taste of this so much as well as others who attend the occasion too.
