General Context of the Challenge

Hello Steemians!

Welcome to the first week of the Community World Tour – Season 25. This stage celebrates one of the most delicious pillars of every culture, traditional cuisine, through your recipes, memories, and photos, we will embark together on a culinary journey around the globe, discovering dishes that tell a story, a place, a family.

What you must share

Each participant is invited to post original content about a traditional dish, whether it's from their own family or emblematic of their region. The key is to tell a human story around this dish like an anecdote, a custom, or an emotion. It could be a holiday dish, an everyday meal, or a preparation linked to a particular region.

In addition to the narration, your publication must include the recipe itself, with the main ingredients and simple preparation steps. This is not a cooking manual, but an authentic transmission of local or family culinary knowledge.

Geographic Location on SteemAtlas

To connect each story to a specific local context, you must clearly indicate the geographic location of the dish presented. This can be a village, a city, or a specific region, once this information is included in your text, you are invited to pin this location on the SteemAtlas interactive map so that other members can visualize the community's cultural journey.

The "TYPE LESS SMILE MORE" gesture

At the end of your post, you are invited to include a short, expressive sentence, in keeping with the spirit of the "TYPE LESS SMILE MORE" project. This could be a local quote, a family joke, a proverb, or simply a personal thought. The goal is to convey a warm, spontaneous, and human touch that sums up the spirit of your post.

Community Interaction

This challenge is intended to be highly interactive and community-based. After posting your contribution, we encourage you to visit other participants' posts, especially those from other countries or cultures. Take the time to comment, ask questions about their recipe or region, and create an intercultural dialogue.

You can also explore the SteemAtlas map and react to visible pins with a simple comment like “I didn’t know this dish! Is it sweet or savory?” can be enough to start a great conversation.

Thanks for this learning challenge idea. Very creative way to way know the world with their traditional cuisine. I have a question. I am interested to share The traditional cake recipe of my village, so where should I pin the atlas location? My village or more specificly my area where I live?

Hi @pea07, thank you for the comment, indeed you can pin the region where your village belongs. Have a nice work!
