Today I am going to participate in the SLC contest organized by Dear. @kouba01.And Now I am going to share a Traditional Dish of my city Peshawar, Pakistan,So without wasting any time, lets get into it.
The traditional dish which I have chosen for today's contest is "Chapli Kabab".This is a traditional dish of the beautiful city of flowers that is Peshawar, Pakistan.On Peshawar mostly Pushto language is spoken.The Chapli is a Pushto word which means Shoe or scendle.This dish is known as Chapli Kabab because its flat shape is resembled with Chappal (Scendle).
When the tourists from all around visits Peshawar, they must enjoy and relish this yummy dish.Whxih has become an essential part of Pukhtoon Culture.This dish is very yummy and mouth watering as well.It is full of Proteins which makes it a healthy cuisine as well.
Now I will let you know the recipe of this delicious dish known as Chapli Kabab.Actually this Chapli Kabab are made from minced beef.
- First of all the pure beef meat is taken and minced it.After mincing, chopped onions and tomatoes and green chilli are added in it.Crished ginger and garlic are also added in this material.3 or 4 spoons of maised flour is also added.After that different species like chili flakes, coriander flakes, Anaar daana (Dry pomegranate), hot spices, salt.All these ingredients are mixed properly and thoroughly with the hands.Now the material for making Chapli Kabab is quite ready.
All Ingredients Are Mixed In A Proper Way
- After burning the stove the cooking plate is put on it, when the cooking plate becomes hot.Two or three table spoon of oil is poured on the cooking plate.After that we make flat shaped Kabab in our hand and then put it gently on the cooking plate.At one time, three or four Chapli Kabab can be easily adjusted on the cooking plate.After that the flame is kept low to cook the meat properly.Then after 4 minutes these Chappal Kabab are turned on the other side, after while when the other is also cooked then these Cooked Chapli Kabab are put gently in a plate.Afrer that these yummy are ready to served to your loved ones.

Traditionally these Chapli Kabab are served with local Naan (bread made of wheat) and a bowl of yogurt.I will highly recommend this yummy dish to all of you, I will passionately waiting for your response.

The way you shared the tradition of Chapli Kabab not only made me crave it but also gave me a deeper appreciation for the cultural pride of Peshawar.
I love how the name of the dish is rooted in the local language and shape, so symbolic and authentic.
These chapati kawabs look like tikkas to me but whatever the name I used to eat them when I had not turned a vegetarian. I used to eat Seekh Kavabs almost every day. Nice preparation boos!

Realmente sería un gran privilegio viajar a Pakistán, a Peshawar y probar en el sitio el Chapli Kabab. Por ahora pienso hacer una prueba en casa con las especias que consigo en mi zona. Para mí es evidente que este alimento está repleto de sabor.
