I am starting by wishing all my Steemit friends good health. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, I am doing very well. Today I will participate in a great engagement challenge. Through this challenge, I will be able to share traditional food recipes of our region with you. The theme of the engagement challenge is SLC-S25/W1 | Community World Tour : Traditional Cuisine. So let's get started.

Every country or region has some traditional foods and our home is in Gazipur. Gazipur also has some traditional foods. However, one of the traditional foods is Borhani. Borhani is a food that in our region, at any wedding, social event, at home, or when you go to a big restaurant, there will be Borhani along with other foods. However, this food is seasonal because it is usually eaten more during the summer. Even during the summer, everyone is very tired, so eating this Borhani with other foods refreshes the body.

This recipe is as tempting to look at as it is delicious to eat and refreshes our minds in the summer. However, many people eat this delicious food even in the winter season. Times change but some foods always remain traditional. For example, in the past, this food was not prepared on all occasions, but with the increase in time, this food also increased in popularity. Later it became known as a traditional food.

Preparation method:

  • Step 1: First, I clean the mint leaves and coriander leaves well, wash them and put them in the blender.

  • Second step: Then add green chili and beet salt. Then add a little water and blend well.

  • Third step: Now add sour curd, chaat masala and sugar and blend well again.

  • Fourth step: Now pour it into two clean glasses from the blender to eat. Then add a little lemon juice and stir with a spoon.

  • Fifth step: Now decorate the glass of Borhan beautifully to serve. If you want, you can add cold water here to cool the Borhani.

This recipe is very easy to make and delicious. I am really happy to share this recipe from my region. This recipe is made in almost every event, whether it is a guest at our house or a small or big event. This recipe is a must-have item in all social events in our region during the summer season. Earlier this recipe was only for the wealthy but with the passage of time this recipe has now become a favorite among everyone. I hope you liked this traditional recipe from our region.
