The plan of reading book regularly

Books are known as the best friends of humans. Knowledge is power, and books are the store of knowledge. Aside from knowledge, it can teach many things like patience, calmness, and many other things. Most importantly, there are no side effects of reading books. And that’s the reason it’s advisable to read books regularly.

It is known to all how beneficial books can be for us, but with time, the number of book readers is decreasing. The possible reason can be modern technology as well as updated technology. In this digital world, we have easy access to smartphones and the Internet. Most people are ready to waste their time watching reels rather than reading books. Maybe it’s because people want to be lazy, or social media, reels, or shots are very addictive, as on the internet, the content comes in front of us based on our interests, so it’s hard to resist.

As we are living in the digital world, now we have two kinds of books: one is a physical book, and another is an e-book, as well as an online book or a PDF version or whatever. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. In the past, people used to read physical books as well as hard copies, but now many people also prefer to read online copies, as they can be read anywhere, and we don’t need to carry a book with us. But it is a matter of concern that using technological devices for a long time has side effects, and that’s why it’s also good to read physical books because it can keep us aside from using technological devices for some time as long as we are reading a physical book as well as a hard copy.

I used to be a book addict in the past, and obviously, hard copy was my favorite type. I think reading a hard copy can give a different kind of vibe and a different kind of feeling that cannot be felt when I read an online copy or PDF. In a word, it can give me a different kind of satisfaction, and the reason is enough to prefer the hard copy over the online copy. But still, several times I need to go for an online copy because of portability issues, and it can cost a good amount of money also, which cannot be taken lightly because finance is very important for me.

I think I read a physical book for the last time one month ago, and the exact date was 4th May, and it was because of my last examination, and the book was on genetics, and I read the book because a few topics were well organized in that book. It can be considered as the textbook. After that time, I became busy writing my research paper, and there was no option for me to read a book, as I didn’t have any time. But in the case of a non-textual book, I think I read it last time in February, if I can guess correctly, and the name of the book was “Feluda Somogro 2.” It was a detective-type book, and Feluda was the main character. I read the first part long ago, and it was quite interesting, and there are many things to learn. I started the second part, but I stopped in the middle of it because of examination pressure, and after that, I didn’t get so much time to restart reading it. I have a plan to start reading it next month, but I think I can’t read aggressively like I could in my earlier days because now I need to read some other books related to jobs, as now I am a job hunter, and I need to focus on it mostly compared to other things.

I believe that reading groups can help me to maintain calmness, and they are also helpful to increase my patience, and that’s why I have plans to continue reading at least one page from a physical book every day. It is not only about reading books but also about healthy, good practice.
