RE: Some new things I learned about.. Textbroker and Google Speech-to-text.

This is awesome. I had heard that Google docs had that feature but never actually tried it out. I use an app called "Otter" when I have to transcribe interviews for school. It works really well also. Sounds like Google is working well for you but It's another option to try, if you like using your phone. I never thought to use it for writing steemit articles though. I dont know if I would be able to talk and produce a well written post though. It's just not my style. Maybe with some practice though? Im going to consider it. That transcribing site sounds like a good way to make some extra money. Good luck if you do decide to try it out!

Word buddy! Thanks for the advice! I don't use my phone that often for text but I'll remember the Otter thing if I ever do!

And yeah I've been struggling to do decent articles by talking, I'm not sure why! For some reason when I type it's a lot easier to think of the direction I want to go and what I want to say, I think maybe it's just cause of the habits I built up over the years of being more non verbal and more visual, whereas some people who talk all the time would probably find it much easier to talk than to type.. But I think in time if I work at it I'll get better and who knows maybe it'll even evolve to doing podcasts or something like that?

Thanks for the good luck! I'm hoping it will be worth it, and I think in the end I usually learn from these things and try to find the silver lining so even if I don't make as much money as I'd like I'm sure it'll be a good learning experience. :)

I hear yeah man. I'm the same. I think writing slows the process down a bit and gives you time to think about what you want to convey. But yeah definitely keep practicing because once your mind is trained to do it that way (verbally) it will be much faster to make a post. You can always edit after the fact as well.
