Battle Mage Secrets: Lost Magic - Melee Warrior's Light
Dear Splinters,
Peace
Lost of Magic is a great ruleset for players that hold powerful melee and range warriors.
This event is going to be amazing for my selection.
Let's discover the opponent's choice of cards according to the battle ruleset.
I knew after analyzing the battle ruleset that the melee warriors were the best play in the current circumstances. The counter strategies are interesting to come by under the pressure of a countdown.
Battle Ruleset:
Back to Basics: Monsters lose all abilities.
Fire & Regret: All Monsters have the Return Fire ability.
Lost Magic: Monsters with Magic Attack may not be used in battles.
Mana Cap: 51

I was lucky that Possibilus was available in my selection. I often rent the summoner with enhanced abilities to promote the melee warrior potential.

My Battle Mage Secrets Combat Link
My battle plan in the arena was to take advantage of the melee warriors, especially in the ruleset situation of back-to-basis.
I brought into the arena the summoner Possibilus to activate my plan.
My opponent had a similar idea. However, his melee team could only strike once they reach the first row one at a time. It was the main weakness in the opponent's strategies.
The rulesets were limiting the players' choice of type of warriors. I was out of the preselected format to call range warriors on the battlefield.
The opposite team brought an impressive melee-only warriors selection on the board. I believe that his formation was stronger than mine.
The outcome of the battle could be worst if Possibilus was on the other side of the board. I agree the opponent's team with Kulu was perfect. The missing ingredient to make the line more powerful was Reach Ability.
