For a very long time, YouTube has been the first destination for most people who want to watch or share their videos with the world. To some extent this is true, but thanks to broadcast services, there are many options available to users now. In fact, Instagram recently threw its hat in the ring by launching IGTV.

In fact, Instagram's long-term video invasion seems to have made YouTube feel so worried that it has signed deals with some of its biggest stars to stay on its platform. According to a recent report from Business Insider, which says that YouTube is apparently trying to sign deals with 5 to 7 of the largest stars on its platform, as long as they agree that YouTube is the first platform they resort to when it comes to the distribution of their content.

This will not be the first time YouTube has made deals with creators. The company has worked with many top creators on its platform in the past and has launched new series of original content with them. YouTube also launched YouTube Red, a new way for creators to create their own content that can only be provided to subscribers and not to the general public.

But we assume that it is not surprising that YouTube feels the heat of competition. After all, Instagram has more than 500 million active users a day, adding that it has full support from Facebook, both physically and technically.
